I went to Southern Aquatics to get questions answered because I am fairly new to the fish world. They guys were really nice and helpful. I was shocked because the 1 ratings were terrible. I did not experience anything negative. I will definitely be going back for more purchases!!

I got my daughter a Betta fish from this store.. previously have had bad experience from other stores, but THIS STORE - THE SOUTHERN AQUATICS, trust me you won’t go wrong! I forgot to ask the kind lady her name, but overall I’ll say the staff knows what they are doing and please follow their advice if you’re a first timer!

Great selection of plants which looked very healthy. Aquariums did not look too great. Had a nice variety of livestock but also missing the most basic livestock. The atmosphere did not feel too great.

What a great store!!! Salt and freshwater fish, super clean, great variety and incredibly resourceful. Couldn't be happier with this place. Tanks were incredibly clear.

am new to the aquarium world but wanted to check this out and ask questions. This store is so clean and organized. I was greeted immediately upon entering and the service here is great! I at no point felt like no one was there to help me. Employees were throughout the store and eager to answer any questions. They were not pushy at all. Tanks were organized by fresh and saltwater varieties. So many beautiful fish! I was educated on caring for my aquatic animal and also maintenance. Things have certainly changed from my WalMart goldfish and glass bowl days! There was a young teenage girl who helped me and she was more mature and bright than people my age I know. Even if you are not in the market to buy a fish I would still recommend stopping in and checking it out. When I am ready to buy I will definitely be coming here!
