Visited 10.10.2019. This hotel is there since a long time, in this historic place. Nice Indian flavour Roti, prawn curry, rice had in dinner. Good Staff and do know local language. Spice levels are made as per our recommendations. Overall experience was super.

I visited many Indian restaurants but the orignal taste of Royal kitchen of Indian Maharajas/Kings was found at Le Maharaja. I really enjoyed the original taste of Royal Indian cuisine. This place is one of the finest of all the places. Situated in a prime location lovely ambience friendly staff.
Overpriced food. The food tasted OK but was not great. The mango lassi was nice. I think you can find better places in this area.
Average at its best. Food was expensive for what is was.

Terrible service - 30 mins until our order was taken, and we were only the second table in the restaurant; over an hour until our starter arrived; no apologies, explanation, or compensation for the waiting time. We were a minute away from walking out before the food arrived, and when it did it was average at best. Very surprised considering the good reviews.
