I scheduled an appointment a week ago and was told I could be treated without a skin test. Fast forward to my appointment day and I was told I had to have a consultation, skin test, then be treated for a total of 1300-1500. I told the front desk girl (who couldn't even figure out how to copy my ID and insurance card) what I was told, and she said there was a misunderstanding. I explained to her no, I was told one thing in person, and another now. She asked who I spoke with on the phone, which I didn't remember, and suggested she look to see who entered my notes when I called, personal info, insurance info, etc. She couldn't figure out how to do this either. I had not gone 7 days without my allergy meds (a requirement for the skin test) so assuming I wanted to pay at least 1300, I couldn't even be treated. She then had someone else come out and ask me if I still wanted the consult. I asked her why I would pay 150 for a consult if I couldn't even be treated, to which she had no answer. I collected my things and left.

Dr. Veena Rajashekhar is a excellent Doctor. She specialise in allergies and pulmonary. I have been seeing her for over 2 years now. She has helped me with my asthma and allergies. She definitely takes the time with her patients and listen to what we say. She is a doctor who really cares about her patients. I don't consider her as a doctor but more like a friend. She's is someone who I go talk to her about my health condition of any kind and she will give me lots of advice. I am definitely bless having her. Since I have been seeing her my condition has progressed a lot. Also her staff and nurses they are amazing. So I want to thank Dr. Veena and her staff for always being there for me and caring. Thank you.
