The only reason this office gets a one star review is because most of the office staff were friendly and helpful, otherwise I would give them zero stars if it were possible. Dr. Miller did not listen to me regarding my infant daughter and has proven he is not suited to work with children! My daughter had a food allergy skin test, but I had to double check with the nurse and ask for sure what she was being tested for beforehand just to find out that a couple important foods were missing from the list. Thankfully, that got resolved and she was tested. However, he then orders general lab work after putting on the order that she has fatigue and vitamin deficiencies...never did I say anything even close to that and she is perfectly healthy! I only brought her in to be tested for food allergies. Then, he prescribed her a nasal spray even though I stated multiple times that she is never congested and has no issues related to it. I will never give my daughter medication unless it is necessary! Also, her clinical summary had information on there that was never discussed with me and some did not pertain to her! I am extremely angry and dissatisfied with this office and her visit today. After all this, I question whether her skin test is accurate or not! I am taking her to another allergist as this is absolutely ridiculous! If you are looking for an allergist, there are plenty others in the area, so I recommend avoiding this place, especially with children! Update: I did not catch that the clinic responded to this review until today. Here are the results from the phone call (I documented everything so I didn't forget anything important). The phone call with Dr. Miller did not answer anything. His reasoning for the lab work and nasal spray still did not make any sense. I stand behind my review still.

Dr. Miller listens thoroughly, and will figure out what's going on with you. I really appreciate him.

I was a patient of The Allergy and Asthma Clinic of Central Texas at the 2000 N. Mays St. location in Round Rock TX for a sinus congestion condition for 18 months. From their options offered between the Rush and Conventional treatments, I chose their Rush treatment precisely because it was supposed to be quicker to see results, according to them, within three months. To give them the benefit of the doubt, I endured their painful treatment for 18 months even though I was told I would see results in a fraction of what I actually waited. On January 31, 2019, I decided that the burdens of the treatment outweighed the benefits since I didn’t see any improvement in my sinus congestion initial complaint and reason I went there, and told them I was terminating the treatment. When I asked their office for a brief statement of my treatment there, I was told it would cost me 25. I wasn’t asking for a word for word deposition of every single thing that transpired there the entire 18 months but a brief summary for my personal records to prove that I actually did go through their shot therapy and what did with me. When I originally asked the lady giving me the shots at the beginning of the shot therapy how long their treatment would last, instead of telling me something that would reflect their confidence in the effectiveness and reliability in their shot therapy, she responded that it would last as long as my insurance would pay. The staff is nice and courteous, but their main focus is not on the welfare of their patients or customers like me but on our ability to be a source of income for them which explains why they still wanted to bleed me even more for an additional 25 for a simple statement of what they did.
