A good selection of outdoor equipment with kayaks, bikes, and tents. Not going to lie though you will be spending an arm and a leg. I kid you not i saw a bike for 900 dollars. They had a bike assembly or repair shop there, and there is a lot of neat gadgets, but I also saw a water bottle for 40 dollars. Didn't bother looking at the clothes. I will stick to ordering online.

Needed a new travel bag. The salespeople were very knowledgeable and helpful. Signed up for the membership for life.

Went in for a specific sized ice chest. The staff greeted me quickly. They showed me all the options. The cashier was humerus and conversed while she checked me out. All the REI’s are turning out to ROCK!!

Everyone is friendly and helpful. They had everything I drove 80 miles to buy. I love my Keen Terradora Mid W P light hiking boots and my Kuhl Renegade Convertible pants and Peppers UV sunglasses!

Neat store. It has everything one would need and then some. Beautiful layout and a good staff. A bit over priced though...

The sales guy I had was pretty cool. He worked in the downstairs area, by the hiking stuff. Helped me work through what I needed on my trip to Big Bend, without trying to sell me things I didn't need. Everyone was nice, patient, and understanding.

REI in general is mostly overpriced things that can be had for a much lower price online. I stay away from most of it. However I thought I would give the bike shop a try since it is close to my work. I called on the day my bike was supposed to be ready and was told they were starting to work on it now. It was the most basic bronze package so I didn't think it would take long. I went by three hours later, even though they had not called, because it was my lunch hour. I understand they might not have had it ready, but the associate Matt didn't even bother to check if the bike was done. He said if I haven't received a call it wasn't done. I would have been fine if he had checked, but he didn't even turn around or check the back. Pretty poor service, especially when three steps would have placated me. If its not done, its not done, but at least check. I received a call 15 minutes later that it was done, but was too far away to turn around and get it before my lunch was over. I wont be back to this one and it has kind of soured me on the other REI's too.
