Recently had a major operation at this hospital. The care and support I received here was absolutely fantastic from my consultant, the surgical team and all the nurses and doctors on the ward. They go above and beyond.

It’s a shame that people are leaving negative reviews when they are among the luckiest people in the world to receive free healthcare!! Who cares about food being cold or bland, this is the NHS for gods sake!! The treatment we received here has been nothing short of fantastic. From the nurses, receptionist and consultants, the care we received was amazing. I can’t begin to express how we were made to feel throughout treatment for cancer and the aftercare is just as amazing. They actually care!

Overall a good hospital to go to, staff are very helpful and your problems are seen to effectively, downside is the waiting times, however.

Went here today for a check-up, Holly the nurse was very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable she assumed that I was up to no good, and was asking me questions like \why do you want it sorted so quickly\ as of I was hiding something! Absolutely unbelievable, she told me that I was acting suspicious and acted like she didn't believe me, and was arguing with me in a check-up room! An awful experience no wonder people are afraid of getting themselfs checked out, I then had to go and get my partner from the car to try and justify myself, I was then offered a second exam by a second nurse, who was slightly older and had glasses, I wish I had seen her in the first instance, as she made me feel comfortable and explained everything she was doing as she was going along, and how I can help myself, if it wasn't for the second nurse, id have come away really worried for my own health, thank you again to the second nurse, and in my opinion Holly should be brought in and tought social ques when to talk and when to listen, and also she needs to have more compassion, and less opinions, as I wasn't there for a help, not to be accused and lectured. 1* for Holly 5* for the second nurse 3* avarage
