I have to agree with some of the other parents reviews. They took my daughter 5 hours away with no shoes or clothes. I was told they can only have one set of clothing and that the kids have the hospital socks to run around in. When my daughter finally called me she said their \school\ is one sheet of adding and subtracting and coloring and watching movies! Shes in high school and this is going to set her back so much.

They have yet to inform me of why they believe my child needs to be there, her condition, her living arrangements. Her meals, daily schedule, how any of it works, NOTHING. I finally spoke to a nurse who was able to tell me she could have 5 clothing sets, I took her clothes. And her home work up, (that they failed to call the school regarding) the front staff insisted I had to set my daughters belongings on the nasty floor, no bag, box, nothing, just the floor. They were so rude, unhelpful and disorganized. As far as my child's point of view, the faculty did testing, said the food was really good. And she enjoyed group therapy.
Therapists are great people they made me feel welcome and normal food was meh beds were meh but staff were great
My son was place in here for little bit. This hospital for children is wonderful. Everyboby is on the same page. The staff, doctors an the Therapists are wonderfully. If your child needs they will help an they do there job very well.
IveI been there 2-3 times. The staff is amazing and helpful in the adolescent unit. They want to make everyone feel comfortable and every staff member is willing to talk to you if you request it. They had hot food and the beds were warm. They would give us extra blankets because it was cold in our rooms, due to it being winter. We got an hour before bed to watch a movie or have free time and the staff was forever helpful. The staff was very laid back (as long as you didn't try and attack other patients or staff). I will forever remember the staff on that unit and I'm so greatfuk that they helped me. Special thanks to Kaitlyn, Nate, and David. The only things I've seen people complain about is that they weren't allowed to see the units (which would be a safety concern for all involved) and that they didn't grasp what they were doing. When I went, they did grasp this idea. I would recommend it to anyone that has family that needs care, or if you yourself need care. It's a great place for everyone who gets admitted.
