Absolutely a pearl of nature. Amazing views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Visiting this place on a sunny day and walking around the lake it just great. Recommend for family picking and bike rides. Coffee bar just around the beginning of the lake with good food. I would love to go back again.
The RSPB offices were shut, but the walks around the sculpture park, & the \yellow\ & \blue\ trails were very pretty with some good views. The cafe opposite sells the biggest & best icecream cornets I've ever had
Fantastic place
It is nice to have a special display of the birds feeding closeup. They are lots of information on the breeds of birds around the viewing box. Also gives a bit of shelter from the weather.
