What an amazing shop. Went in today for the first time and was greeted by helpful, courteous, informed staff who answered all my questions (and I had a lot!). They made sure to give me lots of samples and helpful suggestions. With so much conflicting information about food quality out there, it was wonderful to have a knowledgeable source I could ask questions of and trust. I have found my go to for healthy dog food. Thank you guys!!

First and last time customer. I have a husky/malamute and informed the scheduler that he typically takes several hours due to the shear amount of hair. I was never told by staff that they have a 3 hour time limit for grooming and if your pet goes beyond that there is an additional charge. On top of that, they tried to charge me for a full hour, when in fact I was contacted 3.5hours by the grooming, letting me know he was ready for pick-up. Lastly, the groomer was unable to do his nail care as my pup was getting "nippy." That's understandable. But wouldn't you, as a small business owner, than take money off for a service that was not completed or done efficiently? I was quoted at 65 and in the end was charged 90. I even supplied the groomer with my own shampoo and conditioner so they did not have to use their products. I could have taken him to Petco for less than they charged, but I make a conscious effort to support local businesses. Lastly, the staff women with glasses who sits in the back was rude, tried to argue with me that his nails were in fact cut because of the "flat edge" of his nails, although I do my pups nail care as well and it was clear to me the edge although flat, was not a clean cut and thus was not done. Despite my asking to negotiate price, the "best" they were able to offer me was 10 off of the 90 charge. Poor review for poor service and lack of sincerity from staff. I was all please and thank yous, but still did not get a "have a good day" on my way out. The actual cut and blowout of my pup looks great and that is why I gave them a star. However, I can take him to most any other groomer with similar results, but better service and price point, especially given I supplied the shampoo/conditioner. Will not return.

Has a military discount and high quality food and treats. My giant dog has a sensitive stomach and it took multiple tries with other food before I discovered Ruffing It and they helped me find a good food on the first try. Even the treats are much better quality. They also talked to me about how to determine the right bowl height for my Great Dane. I highly recommend this place to anyone hoping for a healthier pup. The people really seem to care and do a great job helping you find what you are looking for.

I use to love this place. I buy raw dog food, and a lot of the time I would buy it, just to find huge nuggets that clearly had melted and then refroze into huge chunks, and I always assumed it was the trucks fault. I would also buy goat's milk, sometimes it was good, other times it was completely sour. I decided to apply to work here, because I loved their store mission. I worked their for one day, and found out more than enough in that one day to never return again. I found out that their freezers don't work properly, so the temperatures will spike up randomly, and then go back down, which clearly was causing the melting and refreezing of the food. Which is completely unsafe, considering that when the raw food melts, that is opportunity for bacteria and parasites to go into the food, giving the food potential to kill our dogs once consumed. They were well aware that the freezers didn't work properly and had been this way for months, with no plans of fixing it. Then I went to unload the bone treats into the buckets (the ones that sit out, package free), I was informed that bugs will get all over these treats, and I asked if we throw them out then, and the response was, "Nope, just throw it into the freezer for a bit so it will kill the bugs, then throw it back out on the floor." That is disgusting, feeding dogs bug infested treats knowingly, and selling potentially deadly raw dog food and goat's milk, with no intentions of getting the freezers fixed. Then the owner had me wire a wash machine, which I had made very clear I had no idea how to do and did not feel comfortable doing, but she insisted anyway. She definitely has her store associates do far above and beyond what normal job tasks are, and sells unsafe food. I have not returned there since and won't be. Consider yourself warned.

Always my go to place for pet food and help! No other place in town cares more about their customers. I even get emails about about issues with pet foods and then she will refuse to sell them. She definitely does her homework. Only the best for my pets!

Took my pup in on Tuesday to get groomed by Jose. Usually when I take him to get groomed he comes out angry with me for a couple days. This time he was so happy. Plus he did a great job with his cut. Highly recommend. Was our second time there and I will be back. Thanks again.

This place is excellent! The owner is super helpful and caring about your pet. She took a lot of time to discuss my pet's health issues and options for food, supplements, etc... The pet treat options are incredible too. Things that I've never seen anywhere else. I've even purchased some for my relative's pets when I've gone to visit, and they seem very happy :)

Best place in Colorado Springs. My dog had stomach problems and I had the hardest time finding a food that he could eat. A friend suggested I see Rachel at Ruffing It and she suggested a food that we are still using 3 years later. She is so knowledgeable about what is good dog food and really cares about her clients. I won't go anywhere else!
