Incredible farmhouse in the Tuscan hills. We stayed here for 5 days and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking to relax and leisurely explore the local area with its incredible scenery, wine and food. The rooms and pool area are fantastic and there are some amazing restaurants nearby filled with locals. Florence is also only a 35 minute drive or 40 minute train away.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE BED BUGS I and my husband stayed in this accomodation. In the room there were FULL OF INSECTS, the host has just took bed sheet and throw them away from the window and let us use it instead of change it, We thought that it was just insects in the countryside and It was not a big deal, In contrast, it was BED BUGS! We have been totally attacked from them, I can't believe I have to go through so much trouble with this. We asked to refund room rate, she insisted to not to do, in the end she refunded 50% of room rate even if she really does know that the room has have a terrible cleaning condition. After 1 week, our condition is going always worse, we are spending so much money for dermatologic stuffs, and the host doesn’t feel any responsibility about it. Was so so terrible, NEVER AGAIN

During retrieving photos of toscana trip last year, I have felt in reminiscences of this place. I stayed in Il Pezzatino last year May. When leaving the house, I promised the hostess Alessandra that I will definitely write a review as I was so satisfied all things of the agriturismo. I'm now leaving this message long time passed though. Alessandra was so sweet, she gave us rides, pick-up and drop-off from/to station. At that time, we were not able to drive, it was impossible for us to experience Italian agriturismo without Alessandra's kindness. Also, I cannot forget the big and kind dog Willy. Willy guided us winery and olive yard spread behind the house like our shepherd when we just arrived at the house. It was so friendly and energitic, we had fun together. The room was so cozy and clean, having a window through which we can enjoy wide and green landscape of Tuscany field. Tuscany cuisine in dinner time was excellent, we and other canadian guests whom we met first time there had pleasant talk over home-made ravioli, orange chicken, fried zucchinis, tiramisu and bottles of docg wine produced in the farm. We thank Alessandra for the great memories and pray that she and families stay safe and healthy during the hard times of covid-19. Hope to see you again in my next trip to Italy.

From the moment we met Alessandra at the train station to the moment we said farewell, my daughter and I felt like we were welcome and cared for. The dinner Alessandra prepared for us was delicious and the wine she paired (Hinthial rose) was delicious. Relaxing days poolside, strolls through the vineyard and visits from the farms 4-legged ambassador, Willy made this a perfect relaxing get away. And the cooking class Alessandra taught was delicious and such fun! We can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at Il Pezzatino with my family in June 2019. This was after first staying at Il Pezzatino in July 2014 with three close friends. Il Pezzatino is a fantastic farm house to relax and enjoy life in Tuscany. Just a short drive away from Florence, it is a perfect place to unwind from sight seeing, escape from other tourists, and completely relax. The farm has lots to enjoy from a swimming pool, olive trees and grape vines to walk through, outdoor seating to watch the sunset with a nice bottle of wine. The owner of the agrotourismo is incredibly welcoming (and a big reason I came back with my family). I would highly recommend the wine tasting with the wines she makes on the property. Il Pezzatino was the highlight of my family's trip!

Alessandra’s place is wonderful. We had a great time at the nice pool, the best local food prepared for us by Alessandra and great from their own winery. All in all an amazing experience!!!

Beautiful accommodations! From walking the grounds through the vineyard and the olive grove to the comfortable seating area under the latticework. pool. Miss Alessandra is a wonderful hostess with unrivaled skills in the kitchen.Their wines are their own and pair well with the homemade dinner. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only stop I need in Italy.
