Apart from our very first visit to the store the entire process has been a nightmare. All 7 rooms were to be carpeted in the same carpet, simple.... However the wrong carpet was ordered for 2 of the 7 rooms somehow. Once this was realised there was then not enough of the chosen carpet for those 2 rooms. Due to time constraints we had to have those 2 rooms fitted out in an alternative flooring. 3 weeks later we are still awaiting a refund, I have called numerous times and been promised numerous call backs which never happened. The communication and service has been the worst I have ever experienced and I feel compelled to leave this review to ensure if you are considering purchasing from this store that you don’t. They don’t care. The manager of this store Steve doesn’t care. Go elsewhere.

Had to have them come out twice to resolve an issue with the flooring post installation. Been waiting since July to have another issue that happend due to possible incorrect fitting. Store Manager came to inspect the flooring at the end of Aug to say it should be resolved soon but 2 months later no further forward. Fitter has been due to come out to us on 3 different occasions and each time he has not turned up and there was never any phone call from either the fitter or store manager to apologise or say they cant male it despite me speaking to the store on the day to confirm his visit. Probably best to pay a little extra and go to Tapi carpets near by

Went to visit store and salesperson was very apathetic and was more bothered with going home...we arrived with over an hour before closure. Fitting day was a farce, fitters rang to say they were on their way, twenty minutes later they rang back and said they had a bigger job to do in a different town and would be over much later in the day. I spoke to the Rugby store during the day but not really sure they were bothered. Carpetright Rugby was not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend anyone dealing with them. There are plenty of other carpet stores around.

Placed an order just prior to lockdown at the rugby branch, salesman couldn’t work the computer and told us he would send the receipt through on email. When it arrived we found we had been overcharged so tried to spray to the manager. He didn’t get back so we cancelled the order. We have spoken to head office and the branch manager several times but still haven’t had our refund. Not sure whether to go to police or trading standards as they appear to have stolen our money.

Person working there didn't acknowledge we were even in the shop, had to go and stand next to him to get noticed, & then was unhelpful and we felt like we were bothering him by asking questions and just by being there, would not return to this shop.
