I came here coz someone recommended this place to eat grilled fish/ fried fish. The taste is good, you won't regret to come here. About price, average above 50k per portion. You have to wait little longer if order grilled fish. In lunch time, maybe it will hard to find free table. Need effort to find parking lot for cars. But no problem for motorbike.

Taste of food? I don't think I need to explain. Let the stars speaks. Simply perfect, if not the best chicken roast in the city of Pangkalan Bun. Every time I come here, I have determined that this place must be visited on the first day. Simple atmosphere, looks like eating at home. The place was very full when eating during rush hour, so make sure you come at other times to get the best experience.
If you want to have a taste of a local river fish, this place must be on your list. Udang Sungai Bakar (grilled river shrimp), Baung Bakar (grilled Baung fish) or Lais Bakar (grilled Lais fish) is a must try item here. The grilling sauce is sweet and it complement the fish meat well. The restaurant is also clean and well ventilated. The price is a bit tricky since there are no clear set price menu available so you must asks first if you worried about money. I think the normal cost per couple are about Rp100 - 180 k . Good hospitality, if you looking on grilled river fish, shrimp, or mini squid, this is the place. "Tempe goreng telung" is my favorite snack in here. If you're a tourist you should at least visit once.
Popular restaurant among locals. Delicious and busy indeed. Get their fried fish instead of grilled. And don’t forget to try on some river shrimps as well. Bigger in size and not very common in outside Borneo. Excellent & quick service as well.
Had a lovely lunch - grilled/barbecued chicken and shrimp, grilled eggplant and morning glory steamed and sautéed with garlic - all served with rice. The restaurant is very popular and the turnover is amazing. The gal who took out order spoke great English, for which we are so grateful and explained our options beautifully. Like many other tourists, we are just in town for long enough to leave on a trip to see the orangutans - but hope we have time to come back. Extremely reasonable price too!
