They've added Gluten-Free items to their new menu. Soup & Salad was delicious. UPDATE:. So sad to learn Hwy 6 @ Hwy 290 location closed Oct 2018.

I just wanted to give a rave review for Russo's New York Coal-Fired Italian Kitchen on 290. Wow, just amazingly delicious. Also, on Mondays they have pizzas for 50% off, so it's a definite new favorite! We got their 16" Neapolitan crust Doppio pizza which comes with pepperoni, ricotta and fresh jalapenos. We ended up ordering way too much food but it was all tasty and fresh. The kids meals are 6.95 and come with a drink. The kids meal slice of pizza is CRAZY HUGE. Basically, it's like a small personal pizza. Anyway, we were the only ones there this evening, which has me worried that people don't know we have such a delicious pizza gem in our midst. Please go visit and give them a try! The owner/manager even came over to thank us and to make sure we absolutely enjoyed everything.

This used to be my favorite lunch spot. They had a very good soup and a slice combo for 8.99. New ownership has killed the old special and to get the same is almost double the price. Service has been slow the last several times I've been. Soup quality suffered for a few months with the new cook but is nearly back to where it was. Now you have to order at the register instead of being seated and your order taken. Perhaps this is to compensate for the poor and slow service?

I wanted to celebrate my birthday and share their party pizza with friends and family. It was our first time being there, we all had a good time, food was great and staff were really friendly. Would recommend it to anyone

Would give 0 stars if I could, awful service- if any! I was seated at a table with all three of my kids and the waiter never came back! All the waiters served all of the people who came in after me so after 40 minutes of no service we left. The food is usually good so if you want to eat at a Russo's there is a couple 10 miles away, the drive is worth it because it will be less than the wait time here...

This was probably one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. The crust was completely stale, and there was hardly any sauce. My family and I ended up asking them to take it back. They offered us to take it home for free but we denied and we left. Save your money. Little Caesars has better pizza for way cheaper.

I try to stay away from chains, but this is one exception I'll make. The pizza is legit. It is thin and crispy and delicious. A bit pricey, but that comes with the territory. It is a nice sit down place and they make a generous pie. If you, the bachelor/college student, wanted to impress your folks, skip the Domino's and spring for this "fancy pizza."
