Went here as an out of state visitor. It wasn't horrible, but wasn't my favorite. Got the hot lobster roll with crinkle fries. There wasn't that many fries that came with it, you're paying mostly for the lobster. We also got the fish and chips which were pretty decent.

A nice little seafood restaurant right on the ocean. The sun rises in the front of the restaurant and sets in the back over the marshes. This place does seafood the right way. You can't beat the twin lobsters, or the chowders, or the drinks, it's all excellent! The staff is super friendly and on top of everything. The clientele there is sociable at the bar, you can always meet somebody nice there, and have a lot of laughs! Fun place! Highly recommend for great food, terrific service & fresh ocean air
The takeout service at Ray's is excellent. It was the first time I've been to the restaurant. The place was crowded but not uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and the seafood was delicious. If you order a lobster roll it automatically comes with lettuce, so if you don't want lettuce you need to ask.
Forget any other review on the best place to have lobster on the New Hampshire coast - THIS PLACE IS IT!! As a NH native I think I've tried them all, including the shacks with no service and no facilities that somehow gets raves, and I will never waste my \lobster money\ anywhere else. Great service, AMAZING prices and the product is perfection because they are also a lobster pound! If you love lobster, your life will not be complete until you try their lobster bisque - already planning the next trip. Well done, Rays!!! You have a customer for life!
I wanted to love it because the the location and other reviews. But our experience was disappointing, slow service, small portions, exorbitantly expensive, poor descriptions, paper plates, no knives, iceberg lettuce salad with a couple slices of onion and tomato. I was showing some foreign visitors what good seafood is like in New England and it was a bad experience. The baked seafood plate in the picture was tasty, but very small for 30. We won’t be back. I suggest to go else where.
