This was my 1st experience with having my hair styled by a student. I had a great 1st experience. Everybody was very professional. I got a women's barber cut with 4c hair. My barber was non black. I was extremely nervous and hoped for the best. But I was pleasantly surprised! My hair came out great! He even knew about the hair brush sponge and used it to finish the look of my style. Will definitely be back
As a student that has always dreaded going to school I finally found the school I'm proud of attending. When I went to apply I could already feel everyone welcoming me in. The first week I was already friends with like half the girls. The instructors....AMAZING!!!!! They're not just your teachers or the school owners, they're mentors that will always be there for you when you need it most. I swear I couldn't have chosen a better school. No matter how angry or how sad I am outside of school I know I will NEVER have a bad day here. Forever thankful for everyone here.
so far, I made a future appointment here. I made it here because this school deals constantly with black people hair and every since I moved to Cali, I have had NOTHING but problems with hair schools and even the regular salon stylists!!! one stylist used the -same- towel to dry my hair from shampooing it that was used during the process of putting a relaxer on. A school student elsewhere when asked to put more product in my hair literally ignored me, turned my chair so I couldn't see and my curls dropped as soon as I got to my car because there wasn't any hold. I cannot deal with these people in Cali and I miss the hairdressers in CT dearly. However, I pray I have found the right place and if so...I will definitely post the results. Jaymee, the phone rep here was very professional and polite and that's all I am asking for...sheesh is it too much to ask???!!
