Tofu and Yuba Restaurant Japanese style Green tea

The set meals were simply stunning. I recommend the vegetarian (vegan set). The highlight was the tofu skins in broth with the Ponzu dipping sauce. The tempura was not good, so avoid the tempura set. Everything about the meal is well balanced and even though it doesn't look like a lot of food you come out full. The tofu donuts (downstairs) were average (but better than most normal donuts), but the tofu ice cream was outstanding. I highly recommend this place.
Very clean restaurant with brilliant regional and modern cuisine. The menu has images that exactly reflect what you will get. The food combos seemed to be the best choice and the waiting staff was very helpful and friendly.
Very nicely presented and beautiful view from the second floor. Slightly cheaper than other tofu places. At the beginning we didn't quite know how to eat the tofu so tasted quite plain, but once the staff explained which sauces and toppings are to he paired with each tofu dish, this enhanced the experience and made it more flavourful. Our favourite was the yudofu (incredibly soft boiled tofu), dipped in a type of soy sauce (don't forget to add the spring onion and ginger into the sauce like we did at the start!!)
great ambience but the taste is really plain and light. I think it's suitable for people who like light flavor. I would admit that their tofu is in good quality but it might not match my taste anyway
