Allowing shoppers with a full trolley into the 4 tills in the self-scan checkout meant a queue 10 deep on a Saturday. Only half the regular checkouts were open. No floor manager evident to speak to, and nobody calling over the tannoy for assistance. Car park was only half full so not THAT busy..... I normally love it here, but I left my basket and walked out.

I have only started using Sainsbury's recently as there's never been one nearby to my previous addresses. I find the products are of good quality and mostly reasonably priced. What does concern me at the moment is the amount of staff on the tills not wearing a facemask. I will always use the cashier that has a facemask but often none of them are. It feels like they don't care about their customers. I have started using the self service machines but these can be frustrating especially as I'd prefer the human interaction and I have to sanitise my hands afterwards
