I love these pictures as some of them are from fifty three years ago when I served in the South Arabian Campaign with the 1st Battalion Lancashire Regiment ( PWV ) I was 19years old at the time there are also pictures of Armed Forces Day in Wigan on 29/6/19

God's house should be used more
Great friendly place to worship ,and the doors are open periodically through a week ,do call in and look round at the history this building holds.
We had a great carol service with the Salvation Army , a good number came to enjoy . Church is a gem in the town , you must visit
