Let's just say parking in these places is so expensive anyway but it's at the top of a long hill not bad going down but coming back when it's hot, I suggest a bottle of water. Not been her before so when the parking attendant said it was a short walk he was obv meaning cos you were going down hill..

DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK! This is also called the St Ives (Purple) Car Park. Diverted here when Main Council Car Parks (all 4!) was full, and as a point to be made, the Cornwall Council Car Park diversion signs for the overflow should have been for the St Ives RFC Car Park. However clearly this car park team moved them to direct traffic to them first as they direct you no where near RFC Overflow. Very expensive Car Park! 5 for up to 2 hours, 8 for up to 4 hours, which is deceiving for first time visitors, especially when it's double the Council Car Parks that you have been diverted from, and then the walk to St Ives Harbour is 20 minutes each way! You could end up having to ring in for additional time i.e. 5 for another 2 hours! You will receive a Parking Charge of 100 even if you are 30 seconds over the parking time, NOT JOKING, this has literally happened to me! No reasonableness from such a company, criminal! St Ives RFC Car Park is cheaper and round the corner but not well sign posted if this lot device to move the diversion signs from the council, so plug it into Google to get the right place!
Got a parking fine for stopping to review the charges and leaving immediately. Avoid unless you absolutely intend to park here.
DO NOT PARK HERE! Its a scam, I drove in to look for a space, saw the ludicrously high prices, I believe it's 8 for 1-2 hours, drove out and then received a 70 parking ticket just for driving into the car park. Absolutely criminal and I'm shocked to see that I'm not the only one this has happened to.
