This is a cool historic church with the Victorian pew boxes still intact. They also have exhibits about the history of the area. The church itself is more than 600 years old and worth a visit. You need to get the key from the town shop.

St Mary's Church in Betws y Coed is a grand Neo-Norman church built in 1870 to meet the demands of increasing numbers of summer visitors. It replaced a medieval church dedicated to St Michael. The large, cruciform church is very striking. Inside, the church has arcades separating the aisles. The font is black marble, in the Early English style. In the west is a stunning rose window, containing glass by Shrigley and Hunt of Lancaster.

Beautiful church. Has a wonderful garden.with plans in progress for a disabled access to church and a new sensory garden. Teas,Coffees and wonderful cakes including gluten free available every Tuesday through the summer
