Terrible, appalling, atrocious service! First time in my life my table and my chair has been moved basically from under me ?! We walked in for a 15 minute drink, aiming to quietly enjoy the lake view with my husband, but these have been the most stressful 15 minutes and a glass I have ever experienced in France so far. First, they do not allow you to sit in an area with a view that has been completely empty throughout our time being there. They lead us at the back, but alright- the waitress has let us sit in front of the water in the back. 10 MINUTES LATER she runs back like a small hunting dog saying “ALRIGHT, YOU HAVE ENJOYED THE VIEW ENOUGH, NOW MOVE BACK” - and she basically moves our table and chairs from under us almost to the parking making other clients sit in front ?! Huh?! I have never experienced something like this for a drink. Completely unnecessary 15 minutes of stress and hectic movements and 13 euro spent too much on an unpleasant heavy stepped table stealer waitress experience. I was told that is “French service”, but I refuse to let this embarrassing instance define all restaurants in the country

Lake is nice for swimming but the restaurant is a little disappointing. As obvious tourists we were placed in the far area while the main terraced area was left for other locals. The food was patchy. The fish and tomato salad quite nice but the steak and fries both very oily and the risotto a bit stodgy. They ran out of the creme brulee and substituted with a chocolate brownie and swirl of cream. Would return for the swimming but probably wouldn't combine with a meal next time.

It was not mentioned clearly before you pay for 5 Euros per pax-the coupons can only be used for dinner. So you have to come back to use them or else it is considered 5 euros per pax per entry.
