Brilliant staff; the management team are lovely. Not sure I can agree with some of the other reviews. My mother is more than adequately cared for. Not sure I can say the same about the local GP service. I suspect poor NHS funding is hindering some aspects of their care, though.

The Hillings is a friendly place where I feel my Mum is adequately cared for.

The attitude of some staff is very poor, probably driven by the management both at the Hillings and their head office, who can be breathtakingly rude and callous. Relatives of some of the inmates have formed a complaints committee to voice their concerns about poor standards of care. One thing that is clear, unless a resident receives regular visits, they are often neglected.
