This island is on the way to Shikoku region. This is one of the bridge to connected with this region and the bridge is looks really amazing from this island. And also nice place to take break in the journey. There are few street food shops which is really delicious.

時刻表では「櫃石島」と表記されてますが、バス車内の放送では「櫃石島ゲート前」と案内されます。 バス停から他の場所に行くための歩道はありませんので、このゲートそのものあるいはすぐ横にある民宿に用がない限りはここで降車してはいけません。距離だけから判断すると、櫃岩や歩渡島などの島の南部に行くのには便利なような気がするのですよねー。
