Like the food, staff/management very good but as feedback I don't recommend ordering through deliveroo. They don't have deliveroo drivers and this leads to disruptions. Better ordering through their website or just takeaway and you will feel satisfied

Good option for Japanese food. Vegan and vegetarian options are usually available. Atmosphere is very quiet but relaxing. Sometimes the food here can be a little overpriced. I do like the vegetarian ramen however!
Sushi is quite nice but delivery wait times are ridiculous. We ordered on a Wednesday night and it took almost 2 hours to arrive. They use their own drivers so you can't see where your order is if you order on Deliveroo.
I've been going to Sakura for about 3 years now and I love it. Clean beautifully prepared Japanese food, a little on the dear side, but who cares when it's so good to eat. Until now. The minute I put the food into my mouth I knew that the wonderful chef who had built Sakura's reputation was not the same person who cooked what I could only describe as food fit for drunks whose tastebuds were lost 12 pints ago. Sakura, from what I gathered from a visit to the shop, is under new management. The already expensive food is now even more expensive. In fairness to them, they refunded me for the one meal which I brought back to them that was entirely missing it's star ingredient. So long and farewell Sakura. Take a perfect formula, add an accountant and subtract a great chef and that's what you'll get. A One Star Review.
Best Japanese food I have had since I was in Tokyo. Staff very friendly with tea given when you sit down. Warm cosy atmosphere. Food was hot ,tasty and very well presented. Very recommend.
Forgot drinks and sauce in my deliveroo order.
Me and my family was really hoping to get proper Japanese food but the food even didn't taste like the way it suppose to. The head chef even isn't Japanese.. 1.Soya sauce very salty 2.There was no sweet soya sauce. 3.There was no wasabi 4.Food is too salty 5. No balance in sushi 6. sushi has been thrown on the plate like it was served to animals 7. We ordered green tea, but no one even offered a refill 8. Miso soup taste horrible like drainage water (the miso stock from Tesco even tastes better) 9. Curry udon no taste... shame 10. It was very overpriced the food and service not worth for that price If you like real Japanese place please avoid this place as that is definitely not the place were you can enjoy the food
Had a lovely meal there last night, food great, very helpful staff and felt so safe with the Covid 19 prevention measures in place. Well done!
