The price is very good. But I definitely got what I paid for. I was hungry and buffet seemed a nice idea near Plaza Mayor. Lots of deep fried food, and other dishes were filling but only tasted ok. Staff was very courteous to customers.

The food is not good. What is supposed to be hot is too cold and what is supposed to be cold is too warm. There is not much choice neither. Of course the price is low, but if you take two drinks you pay more than in a normal restaurant with nice staff and good food.

Cheap, all you can eat buffet a few steps from the main plaza of Salamanca. A Chinese student came in and was served a super huge bowl of soup. Soup is not on the menu, but I guess it can be ordered. The place is big, and can accommodate a lot of people so it could be fun in a big group of friends. There is hot Chinese tea available (best part of meal), as well as beer and wine. The bathrooms are downstairs, and not very clean. The food is distinctively Spanish style Chinese buffet. For Americans used to Chinese buffets in the US, they will notice some unique menu items, as well as most of the ones in the States. For anybody used to Chinese food in SE Asia, this may be somewhat like the ready to eat food in a convenience store, or in a convenience store's hot food section. In addition to the \Chinese\ food on the buffet, there were a lot of salads, including mayonnaise based ones, and \Western\ foods like chicken nuggets and French fries. The dessert section had the flans you would expect from a Chinese restaurant in Spain, as well as several canned fruits. There were some fresh seasonal fruits too (melons, oranges, and strawberries). I went at lunchtime, and there were very few diners there. While I saw lots of Asian students in Salamanca, I didn't find many groceries run by Asians like in other Spanish towns (Santander, Aviles, Valencia, Granada, Malaga, Sevilla, Etc).

Me gustó.
