The Land Rover is a beauty.... love it ! The drive from Madrid to Salamanca was amazing and very scenic. The hotel we checked in was 1400 years old from the 600 A.D. and is a UNESCO heritage property. Such an amazing luxurious hotel. Salamanca is simply gorgeous ! Such an amazing historic city. So much to see here and do.

I took my 2 dogs with me. They had amazing service for me and the two pups. Super clean. Comfortable bed. Plenty of soft towels. Cold air conditioning. Lovely stay, so close to the attractions that I walked my dogs every day. Will definitely stay again. Very nice employees!
Amazing place, it’s very beautiful, the rooms have beautiful view, very clean and have all you need.
Really unusual hotel and worth the trip. Only stayed one night, but the staff were friendly and the grounds are amazing. The rooms are small due to the nature of the building, but the trade is worth it for the beauty of the hotel and the surroundings.
Got the room at a reduced price with breakfast : clean, good service, nice views from the swimming pool, beautiful building made with big stones, calm and lovely. Very good stay in a good area, I would recommend to walk inside the city by night it’s really pretty
The food was good, but not at the level of a five stars hotel, the price of the food doesn't correspond with the taste of it. I recommend the tuna tartar and the stake tartar. Would never recommend the cachopo, It was difficult to chew, had a lot of fat, and the only taste on my mouth was cooking oil. Also we had four dishes (each of same/pretty same price) and the cachopo was huge while the rest of the food was as little as my fist, so there was no proportion or coherence. About the desserts, I recommend the apple tatin and not recommend the cannolis.
Nice small hotel, not too crowded, in a historical building. Just at the edge of the old town, can easily access the historical places. Some area of improvements - room is a bit warm unless windows is opened, mini bar is not cold. Otherwise, lovely hotel.
It is a very nice place, 10min walking distance to the main plaza and cathedral. Parking is 15 euro/day. As a Platinum Elite or Titanium how it is called now, it is somewhat disappointing that many elite benefits are not available, notably, the breakfast is 24 euro. Marriott should treat its upper tier Elite members better and have it free...As usual there is a lot at miss since the Marriott/SPG merger, and point values have gone down the toilet as well...but I disgress...Anyhow, the location is great, the hotel is well, the staff was nice and helpful. BTW, for what it's worth, I redeemed 25,000 points for a one night stay Sunday to Monday and this was at the beginning of April. I could have booked the night for around 110, so only 0.5 cents/point, terrible isn't it? But I disgress again. Let's just call a nice stay.
