Siddal's Bridge marks where Manchester Road changes to Washway Road as the A56 crosses over Sinderland Brook. The original bridge was built in 1765 and named after a local family. A small path from the bridge leads downriver (west) along the north shore of the stream. Unfortunately there is not much to see from the bridge.
