I truly loved the food at aasai dosai. Though at first I thought that the place was over rated but it was worth the visit . The dosas they serve are world class. The crowd at the place is the testimony of the fact. Great food, decent service , ample parking and a decent toilet , what more would you need from a highway vegetarian restaurant. Honestly this place is a boon for the travellers on the highway and off course the natives of Salem.

Meals is good and hygienic. But quantity is less. Costwise somewhat little high. But hotel cleanliness is too good. Parking and toilet facilities available.

Homely food, served with care. Hygienic in every possible way Courteous waiters, they patiently help you order with masks-on, all the while good etiquette. The portions maybe considered small but the taste compensates to all other things, lip-smackingly good. Ample parking area, clean restrooms, overall good experience and anytime would want to visit again and Definitely YES to that

The best stop for yummy, tasty and special variety South Indian food for the hungry hungry travelers through Salem! The speciality of this restaurant (similar to most Tamil Nadu restaurants) is the special snacks and food items that you get here. If you pass by this side in the evening say 4pm to 7 or 8ish, you’ll find really yummy special snacks. No doubt all the food stuff during the rest of the day is extraordinary! A few of my favorite is the special (which you can order even if it’s your first time) Masala Milk, bajjis, bonda, kuzhi paniyaram (sweet and spicy ones), paal paniyaram, Idly, Idiyappam, Poori, Chole Batura! If you pass through this place, don’t miss to visit this place for food! PS: Don’t forget to try their Masala Paal (Masala Milk) - just mesmerising with dry fruits and a good serving of a special dal (find it out for yourself) I’ve attached a few pics of things I ordered and enjoyed off late!
