The approach off the main road to the car park is quite rugged and the path from there to the hill fort was rather muddy today. The banks and ditches are quite impressive and the whole site is quite large. The bitter wind was biting walking around the perimeter so you can imagine how cold it would have been in the iron age !

Nice place for a peaceful walk and the ring is fairly impressive. My only worry was that my car would make it up the rocky narrow dirt track with killer speed bumps to get there Lots of people walking their dogs, clear evidence of natural wildlife too
a bit of a hidden gem! the track up to Figsbury Ring is very poorly maintained, but once you get there it's a lovely place for a walk with stunning views over the Wiltshire landscape including Salisbury and Old Sarum in the distance... odd to think that somewhere which must have been a hustling bustling place in it's time has become hidden away and empty
A fabulous quiet location- iron age fort circling a neolithic circular Fort. Spectacular views in all directions Very (i do mean very) bumpy track to the site Car park is a fair size. Only room for one car very limited passing points. Please hit the like
The site is Brill to wander around and look at, cows always on site but friendly. Dog walker spot. Getting to it is hard on the car as track to car park is very rutted in places. Slow and steady.
