This is a delightful National Trust property situated in the centre of Salisbury (within the walls). Not only are the rooms interesting but there is a large and well kept garden with a small but perfectly formed tea room at the end of it. Whilst I visited on a grey day in Autumn, I can imagine how good this place would look in the summer.

This is a wonderful NT property in the centre of Salisbury. A small property and garden but still worth a visit. It doesn't have a Car Park like other NT properties. However there are 3 carparks within 5 minutes walk. Staff as usual are very pleasant. Lovely little garden to the rear. Has a good sized tea room considering the small size of the garden and house. Small gift shop to the rear. There isn't a second hand book shop here. Fantastic view of the cathedral from the bedroom windows. Well worth a visit if your in Salisbury.

A lovely National Trust house in the heart of the city within the cathedral close. A lovely well appointed house with knowledgeable staff. The tea room in the garden is excellent. There is also a small shop.

National Trust properties never fail, first day after the winter closure the people at the entrance very friendly and helpful. The little tearoom served beautiful lunches made fresh to order had a good selection of cakes. They have a gorgeous collection of old china. Nothing beats a cuppa from a cup and saucer. There is seating inside and outside with the latter looking over the garden. There were vases of fresh flowers everywhere, they smelt wonderful. House tastefully restored, for me in the dining room there is an amazing collection of glasses, just stunning. Worth the visit just to see them. The stems are gorgeous all from around 1700.

As any National Trust place, highly recommend to visit. The volunteers are very knowledgeable, providing lots of interesting information and the exhibition brings the house to life.

You can hide from the rain in the garden room for a drink. One decent latte in a romantic surroundings. The tea ladies are wonderful. So is the property.
