Dr Eastman was excellent however since he retired I am not too pleased with the surgery. I phoned a few weeks ago as I had knee pain and asked the doctor if I could have an x-ray, I was told no, as I had had one a few months before. I went to SDH anyway and had an x-ray and was told that there were various problems. Rather than go back to the surgery I went to private doctors in London. After a number of scans and x-rays they found my knee and back were a mess and I had to have two separate steroid injections in my back and knee. I was told at this time that if the injections didn't work then I would need a whole knee replacement. The injection in the knee hasn't worked so now I am looking at a knee replacement. Going private should not have been necessary...

Even though they say the NHS is open this doctor’s surgery in definitely not open for normal things! The nurse is rude and tell you to go to a different doctors when challenged on the topic!

This is a futile surgery. Doctors knows less than I do. A typical example is that they were offering montilukast for two weeks to my son who was asthmatic. I in fact knew that it is preventative medication and takes time to take effect. This is just an example. There are ample more and now I have decided to change Surgery as this is not what is required by general public.
