We’ve been staying CSGS almost every year since 2001! Perfect secluded location but only 1 block down the hill to Saluda’s Main Street. Great accommodations and the best spot to begin your adventure exploring the southern highlands. Walter and Sherry are wonderful hosts and provide a delicious breakfast to start your day. Highly recommended!

Quaint, yet spacious apartment, nestled in a beautiful English style garden. The apartment is immaculate and stylishly furnished. Walter and Sherry, are wonderful and thoughtful hosts. They have thought of everything one might need to make a guest feel more at home.
We booked this B&B at the last minute on our way to Asheville for the weekend - best decision we could have made. Walter and Sherry were the most hospitable hosts we could have asked for. Very private, clean, and quaint guest suite with a beautiful view of their gardens. Personal parking spot/entrance and a delicious breakfast served each morning. Just a short walk to downtown Saluda or a stroll up the street to explore the historic neighborhood. Only a 20 minute trip to Asheville and the Biltmore. One of the best experiences we have had and we will definitely be returning for future trips.
Charles St is charming, and the people are friendly.
