Amazing B&B, we were spoiled. The ambiance is pure, classic and relaxing. A beautiful house with all the history. Great library and sitting area and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend and hope to get back there soon

I stayed here a few weeks ago with some family, and had taken my keys up and left them in the acorn suite. Gail was more than happy to return them. It's nice to see a honest and thoughtful person like that, as most people would have shrugged it off and threw them away. The price is good and the house is great. There are 5 rooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 porches and a patio/small porch, and a reading room, living room, bar, coffee bar, and good sized dining room. The house was always warm and it was usually bright, not sleepy like most Victorian homes. The acorn suite has a king size and a pull out separate bed under the couch. You could easily sleep 6 in the suite. Oh, and the view...
Our stay at The Oaks was far better than expected. The atmosphere and ambience was relaxing and cozy. Our hostess was accommodating and went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. I am looking forward to my next visit to Saluda and will definitely stay here again. 5 Star treatment!
Such a gorgeous house! I'm in love. Built in the early 1800's, this bed and breakfast is the perfect place to stay. The housekeeper is so accommodating, and the atmosphere is lovely! Each room truly has it's own personality, and the entire house is a lovely getaway. Ten out of ten recommend to travelers. During the day, music is playing downstairs and there are refreshments and alcoholic beverages in the kitchen. Not to mention, the breakfast is sublime. If you're in the area and don't know where to stay, I implore you check this lovely place out
My husband surprised me for my birthday-couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay! Beautiful, historic Victorian Inn decorated with period taste and private en-suite rooms. But what made this stay so spectacular was the Inn's owner-she was professional, accommodating, warm and personable, and it was a pleasure to get to know her. The breakfast was different each day and it was delicious and more than you could eat! But the best was being able to drink her wonderful coffee on the wide front porch and the gardens with blooming hydrangeas in view in the mornings. In the evenings, there was a side pergola off the dining room for drinks and conversation. There were great restaurants in town (within a short walk from the inn), and was close to Asheville and many sites and activities. A perfect stay and we plan on going back in the future. Thank you Gail and The Oaks for an unforgettable birthday!
The town of Saluda is one of the most charming places you’ll ever find . This is the best !! The place is fabulous. My bed and linens were wonderful. Gail knows how to treat her guest .Gourmet breakfast . Great coffee you can get before anyone gets up. I’m an early riser so sitting on the wraparound porch in the early morning is very special! I’ll definitely be back ! Thank you so much Pat
Fantastic little b&b. The owner is very nice, the rooms are cozy, and the location is great. There's a very well stocked bar, and the breakfasts were excellent. I'll keep it in mind for any future trips to the area.
Enjoyed our stay last weekend! Great historical home, great food and great inn keeper! This was the peaceful getaway our busy college daughter needed!! We will return to this lovely mountain town.
