Nice hut. Reachable either by cable car or by foot in a 2 hour hike
You wouldn't expect to find a gem like this on top of a mountain. The restaurant is fantastic. The food is great. Prices are very good considering that everything has to be brought up by cabin lift. The staff is extra friendly and quick on their feet. The whole place has just been renovated to a very high modern standard but kept the traditional atmosphere of a "Berghütte" You can sit indoors, covered outdoors, or on the benches outside, enjoying the views over the Alps in the south and Inntal, Simssee and Chiemsee on the other side. Best to visit weekdays and outside school holidays, as it can get crowded during peak season, as tourists will use the cabin lift in great numbers.

Nice place but hard to reach from beginners.
What an amazing experience visiting this hut. The view is astonishing. In one side there is a "sea" of mountains, the hochries, and in the other side you can see the beautiful valley. It's a real privilege being here. Very good menu with options for everybody and really delicious. Clean rooms and toilets. Friendly and young staff. Free Wi-Fi for some hours a day. A Perfect spot!!

Wunderschöne Tour zum Hochries vom Wanderparkplatz. Hütte hat ja aktuell geschlossen. Wobei Getränke bekommt man auf Vertrauensbasis.
