Sam did an excellent job of upholstering the seats of two antique chairs as well as upholstering a small footstool. If you are in doubt about what kind/color of material you need for your job, then ask Sam for his opinion on what material in his shop would work best. I was overwhelmed by so many choices, but I went with Sam's suggestion which turned out to be perfect! Beautiful job and chairs are comfortable to sit on. His wife is very helpful as well. Sam does a good job - you won't be sorry.

Our entire experience has been awesome from day one to the day we got our newly reupholstered chairs. All in all it was 13 days! We arranged for pickup on a Saturday after our last clients were at the salon. (Backstage Salon in Croton) Sam delivered the chairs to us on Tuesday morning before our first clients came in. I would HIGHLY recommend Sam! His work is clean and meticulous and it couldn't have been any easier.

Sam was personable and easy to work with. I was thrilled to find a local businessman I could work with as I had quite a bit of upholstery I wanted done. Unfortunately it did not work out. The cushions looked ok until I took them home and found that they did not fit properly even though the original covering was used as a pattern. The arm rests which did not match had to be returned and took forever for Sam to repair.

I personally went to the store and explained to the person that was there i had a chair requiring reupholstering in the seat portion . I told him I had another chair which had the material required to reupholster the seat portion of the other chair. I showed the man a picture of what I needed done. I asked him if he can do it and he said yes. I asked him should I bring both chairs in and he said yes. Drove back home got my truck put both chairs in the truck drove back to the store took out the chairs brought them in the store. The man tells me he doesn't need the chairs. He needs me to send a picture of the chair to the owner of the store to see if the owner of the store can do the job. Okay . So I got my chairs put them back in the truck took them back home. I SenT a picture of my chairs to the owner of the store who wanted to bang me out for 250 to upholster the seat portion on a chair for which I would be providing the material.

Sam did a great job reupholstering my motorhome cushions and convertible jackknife couch/bed. I would definitely recommend his work. High quality at the right price. Tell Sam I sent you!!!
