As a born a raised San Angelo native, the Tom Green County Library is a great library for all to enjoy. I used to come here everyday after school. It's a fun place to hang out with friends, read a book, and enjoy the various events they have going on daily. There's also a Teen Room, where they have a dedicated room for teenagers to hang out and watch movies, surf the web, and even play video games. There is also a kid section on the lower level, and an art gallery in the front lobby, mostly displaying local art and Texan art in general. I would most definitely recommend anyone to come here and check out everything they have to offer.

The San Angelo library is just simply a great place to get lost and lose track of time at. It feels like an adventure and has enough books to make any imagination feel right at home.Oh and btw the secret room down stairs is AWESOME was great to find it. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and family when looking for a place to get away.

Extremely helpful. The lady in the nonfiction section gave me some great tips. She was a blessing to us.

Library is nice however, just a warning to thoroughly look through any book prior to checking out for any damages that may be in it. It was our first time ever using this library and one of the books my son checked out apparently had damage on the back pages that looked like a dog had chewed on it, which we were unaware of. He never even ended up opening this book since he had so many others to read instead, but lo and behold when I returned it and tried to check out more I was charged over 16 to replace this one book. We didn’t do any of the damage to it, but all the front desk clerk kept saying was well if the damage was there before we would have noted it. Obviously not since it was. Just super disappointed. So please make sure and check your items before checking out. And to whoever returned Artemis Fowl in that condition without saying anything- thanks a lot ️
