Read some reviews & it looks like I'm not the only one this practice attempted to swindle with they're manipulative language & rebranding of basic dental care in an attempt to upcharge for services. They must like when they see basic insurance plans so they can provide absolute minimum care that doesn't even meet what the plans provide & then try to sell services for cash payment. That right there is bordering on racketeering. Relabeling cleaning as debridement is very misleading & feels fraudulent. Add that I was spoken to with such condescending tone from not only the dentist, hygienist but also an office insurance handler. That was not my first time in a dental office. I'm smart & I know the terminology, but they really worked an angle to make me feel like I didn't understand things & should just pay up for whatever they suggest. So glad I walked out of that office without paying anything out of pocket. Even when I get more comprehensive dental insurance coverage next month, there's not a chance I'd return to that practice.

Incredibly judgemental of my sisters and I, and we’re Hispanic. My older sister is overweight, and was treated badly during her visit. My younger sister and I went together and were also treated badly. We came from another dentist, so today (7/20/2020) was our first visit. They never informed my sister and I or our mom of any charges prior to our visit. When my sister tried to tell me what was happening, my hygienist talked over my sister. And when the actual dentist came in for me for the 3 minutes he was there, he man handled my mouth and blamed my cheek bones for being in the way. Also the shades I was given were obviously not cleaned. Another object that wasn’t cleaned/wiped down was the clip board used by a white woman. However, the clip boards my sister and i used were wiped down immediately. My family will not be going back. If it were possible to give ZERO stars, I would.

Blanco North Dental have been always treated my family and I just like we were part of theirs. I have been going to see Dr. Cortes for almost 10 years now. I like to think that we are special that way.... The reality is that they treat everyone that way! It also helps that he is an incredibly talented dentist. I have and will continue to refer friends and family to him because I know they will have a positive experience. Every time I go I receive unparalleled service by excellent, personable, well-trained, professional, pleasant staff, from the person at check-in to Dr. Cortes himself! Dr. Cortes and his staff are absolutely the he best.They keep my family and me advised of the latest dental techniques, all the services they offer, and do it with courtesy, friendliness and professionalism. Simply the best!

Dr. Cortes was exquisite. He and the staff made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. This was my first dental surgery and he did a great job of making it almost painless. 10/10 would recommend and definitely will be back for the rest of my dental work.

Dentist and assistant where friendly and knowledgeable. As for the staff, I could not say the same. They wanted to charge significantly more than other providers and refused to bill out even during a global pandemic which has led many to become unemployed for an unforeseen length of time. When calling back in to get an email of x rays and records, we were given much attitude and have still not received the email with the x rays and records. When we offered to come in and get the records in person, we were threatened with police. Definitely do not recommend working with these people if you do not have killer insurance.
