What can I say that I haven't already said to every person I meet practically. Godai is hands down the best Sushi, best staff, and best experience when it comes to Sushi. It feels like home and family every time I walk in! Every roll I have had is amazing but my favorites are the Summer, Longhorn, and Cajun roll! Don't forget some spicy edamame or spicy green beans and some hot sake and you are set! Enjoy!

First of all I'm gonna say this is a great spot for a date night. Nice asethic, inside and out. Large wine selection, they have more then what I posted but I couldn't snag a picture; it was a wine wall but there was a family dining right next to it. The food. Miso soup was solid, the salad they gave with a peanut based dressing was solid. I got a spider roll and my friend got a widowmaker roll. I enjoyed mine, the rice was a little on the less flavorful side compared to other places I've had but its authentic like they say, no extra seasoning its a decent base. The actual ingredients tasted very fresh. The widowmaker was fine as well. I've had better sushi but this place still has good sushi worth checking out once to see if it's for you.
Awesome menu! Delicious sushi, just needs more indoor seating
The sushi selection is definitely going to take you a few minutes to get through because there's so many, but it's really delicious once you choose one and dig in! The service was a little tiny bit slow, but once the waiter/waitress comes to your table, they're eager to help! This place is definitely a must try!!
This place was the weirdest and most uncomfortable sushi place I’ve ever been to. It’s dark inside and reminiscent of a dive bar. The tables are very sticky and close together. They let people walk in without masks and seat them, even though their sign says you must have a mask. The music was literally just George Strait’s greatest hits, despite it being a sushi place. The man making the sushi wasn’t wearing his mask properly. They had one waitress and she forgot our drink order and had to come back and ask for it again. The menus are sticky laminated binders. There were tables stacked with wine and beer bottles in the middle of the restaurant for some reason. After finally getting our drinks the waitress never came back to our table. We waited about 15 minutes and then decided to leave. No one even noticed we were leaving or tried to ask us to stay. This seems more like a bar than a restaurant. I do not suggest it.
