This operator was involved in three FAA enforcement actions in a short span of less than a year. The FAA concluded that the pilot/owner was acting carelessly and sanctioned him with safety awareness counselling. He routinely flew airplanes beyond their operating limitations. This company has ineffective internal controls and being a part 61 flight school, they have the ability to operate in an environment where limited FAA oversight exists that allows these behaviors and violations to continue. There were two three fatalities. You were warned.

I flew a plane with a great instructor named Brett. I was confident on the ride and he made sure I was comfortable. I had an amazing experience.
Pathetic school. Brett was my instructor. Can't believe that he is giving this awful school a review below, being an employee. The owner actually thanks him for giving them a 5 star fake review. I bet the owner told him to put that review up. Such desperation! WOW! Says ALOT about the character of the owner. Sky Safety and Anderson Aviation are WAY more reputable than this school. It shouldn't even be called a school.
I received 4000 in invoices for flights and ground school classes that I never participated in. Watch every invoice like a hawk. They will charge you without your consent. When you charge someone that big an amount, refuse to pay them back, tell them they signed a contract that says o refunds\, buy planes and go on vacations to Arizona/California..........guess what, it's not an accident or an overcharge, its STEALING. Shame on this business. There is a reason why they ask you for 6,900 and 10,900 upfront. One way or the other, they are stealing from you. Two to four weeks to achieve a pilot certificate. \Sure!\, says the lazy wannabe pilot who will one day become a, \what not to do\ for other aviators. The question remains if you are wise enough to catch such crime early, and wise enough to not ever even step foot here.
The owner has no aviation background, not even a private pilot license, which is very unsettling. Every other flight school is run by an owner who has an accomplished and extensive aviation background. It makes me question how the company complies with insurance requirements/record keeping/aviation law, or how they manage maintenance problems and are able to hire competent instructors. Their planes are old and not equipped with updated navigation safety systems either. When I looked up the history of the plane I flew on my discovery flight, it was previously used by many people and entities. Some of which are flight schools. The aircraft they have could have suffered from metal fatigue which is not visible externally during inspections. I also got to hear about the various students who lost enormous amounts of money at this school. Did not hear good things from the regulators and local flyers. The owner allegedly attempted three takeoffs with an overweight aircraft in tailwind conditions. He crashed with two pilot prospects on the third attempted take off. The NTSB is investigating the fatal accident. I wouldn't recommend this school based on the school's safety record and poor business practices.
