The food was very good. The service and atmosphere were excellent! The staff were truly hospitable and clearly glad to serve; my husband and I both really enjoyed the pub and will visit again.

I'm a fan of Durty Nelly's near by but when they were closed I found Waxy's and so glad I did!! Shaner and Chuck took good care of us! Great atmosphere, fair prices, and amazing customer service. We loved everything we ordered! Can't wait to come back to San Antonio and Waxy's will be one of my first stops!

We went for lunch. Really enjoyed eating outside. We were seated very quickly. The food.was really good. We had the fish and chips, and a fish sandwich. It was light and crispy. Good flavor. The reuben sandwich was very good. All In all it was very satisfying.
