Horrible. A water pipe exploded, damaging some of our stuff and hotel refused to compensate us saying that "their insurance contact would be away the whole weekend due to Carnival party". Also they wanted us to change to a worse room and it took us 1 hour of pushing them so they would give us an equivalent room (they didn't even helped us changing rooms!) As the hotel "Management" did not even call us to apologize, we had to sue them which is time consuming for me but I hope that makes them learn a lesson and treat other customers better. People in charge are the worst hotel managers I've ever encountered (it's a pity for some of the staff who are excellent professionals have put up with such "bosses" )

Very basic hotel without anything more than expected! Small rooms and basic interior. Very hard beds! Not suitable for invalid people. No access with wheelchair.
Old well worn hotel. Paperthin walls, no aircondition. The receptionists are helpful and it's in an OK part of the area. The nearby Irish taverns will make sure that you know all the lyrics to pub classics like "The Rover", "Whiskey in the jar" and similar tunes. If you feel lonely there are plenty of pigeons visiting if you leave the door open.

Det var lite folk her under vårt opphold. God plass ved bassenget og masse ledige solsenger. Hyggelig og hjelpsom personell. Romvask nesten hver dag. Gratis Wi-Fi. Er en del utesteder rett utenfor hotellet. Noen irske puber så vi fikk live musikk hver kveld. Fint å sitte på terrassen med musikk før en går til sengs. Ellers er området sentralt nok til å spasere eller ta buss/taxi til det du måtte trenge og besøke. Skal en handle mat, klær og lignende så kan en spasere opp i gamlebyen 15min eller ta taxi ca.40kr. Der får du alt til halv pris eller billigere i forhold til turistområder. Utsikten fra hotellrommet.
