Worth the drive from north county, just for the selection and quality of everything. Very helpful staff! The front of house all in one tanks are very expensive, but there's affordable stuff in the back if you ask. Competitive prices for both common and more rare fish. Lots of plants, but they will usually melt for 2-3 months before regrowing underwater. Dedicated plumbing section for filters and sumps of any size. EXTENSIVE saltwater fish stock, plus a few hundred square feet of corals and crabs. It's like a museum aquarium, but for free and (mostly) for sale!

Been going to AW for over 20 years. Pat and his crew have given me Encyclopedias worth of advice over the years, and you can't put a price on that. I also know that what I buy from AW is safe and healthy. All fish are pre-quarantined. I can't say that of any other fish store in town. The best in town.

Ive been keeping fish for a long time. Im so happy to have found such a great local fish store Most girls drop 100's on bags and beauty products. Not me. Fish and cars are my passions. I love fish keeping and this store meets all my needs. I think that they need a bigger building lol Like any fish that has outgrown its tank, time to move to a bigger tank !
