We had a wonderful whale watching tour! It was a cozy environment and much less commercialized than the giant ships. The staff was friendly and informative. The layout made it easy to ask questions about the local geography and ecology. The captain even paused briefly to rescue a mylar balloon out of the water (those are super dangerous for sea life); the tree hugger in me loved that. Thank you for the great tour!

We had a great time. Didn’t find a whale but a pod of dolphins was SO cool. Our captain estimated 200-300 were there. Also saw some unique fish and really “chill” sea lions!

We had a stellar day on the water, encountered hundreds of dolphins and then a grey whale with her new calf. Our Captain was personable and very knowledgeable, explaining to us about dolphins and whale migration. All in all a magical day! The boat seats 5 -6, so we all felt like each of us had the best view. I highly recommend this amazing experience!

Fantastic trip. We were scheduled for 9am but it was foggy so our Captain asked us if we wanted to wait for a later departure. We had the time so of course we wanted the best opportunity possible. We left a few hours later and the day was beautiful. We really appreciated Captain Christine to be so flexible and wanting us not to waste time or money to not enjoy it. When we did leave, Captain Christine was so nice and very knowledgeable about getting us to the hot spots to see wildlife. She knew quite alot about local wildlife. We saw sealions, sveral pods of common dolphins (which was amazing) and a couple Minkie whales. The smaller boat didn't have shade but with sunscreen applied, it was sooo very worth it to be so up close. The dolphins swam right under our boat and jumped in front of us. It was my first whale watching but I can't believe the bigger boats can give such an upclose view. Amazing.

Wow, what a great time! Christine was our captain. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a fun experience. We got to see some whales and dolphins and got escorted back into the marina by a sea lion. A really great experience. Next time I'm back in San Diego I will do this again. I highly recommend!
