The staff here really give it all they have but you have to do the work!! I have been out of my mind wanting to just die, and found no judgement acceptance patience which gave me a new look at my self destruction I cant imagine where i would be had it not been for Everyone who works there even the ones I didnt like help me in a way i wasnt able to help myself. 4 times it took me before finally I am clean sober stable on my meds and now going to school to become a peer support specialist Thank You God 1st. and all the staff who are of service to the walking wounded like me God Bless YOU

I was in a pretty dark and lonley place when I went to VB. They really helped me a lot. VB is like anything else, it's what you make of it. I have a great start on recovery thanks their help. I especially want to thank Troy and Hannah for their advice and help.
There comes a time when you need a friend to speak with. It's a comfortable place to relax and unwind.
The staff is amazing. The care and quality of service deserve 6 stars. Anyone in need of a crisis house should consider coming here. In the afternoons you can take group walks through balboa park that is literally across the street. I've got my life back in just 2 weeks.
