This is a 'sister' place of the Burma Superstar. At least that's what we were told by the guys at Burma Superstar. We had Khao Sui, Fiery Cauliflower, Jasmine & Coconut rice and an additional chicken dish between the four of us. The food was decent. The portion size is enough for just one person. If you are looking to share, you should order an additional dish.
So delicious and all of the employees are kind to customers, even when they are being slammed by a dinner rush. I usually order the lamb curry or fish chowder which are both incredible. Not cheap, but serving sizes are generous and the flavors are incredible. I'm so happy to see that they still have plenty of business despite the quarantine.
Ordered tea leaf salad, garlic noodles with chicken, vegan coconut curry noodles and fiery basil chicken. Tea leaf salad, Curry noodles and chicken were great and really really flavorful and delicious! However the garlic noodles left me wanting. They were a bit too stiff and lacked flavors overall and then had shredded boiled chicken to top the noodles which didn't taste as good. Basil chicken though was so good! I couldn't get enough. Most things here are really good so you're likely to have a good time and meal here. 10/10 would come back.
I went there a long time ago. It is delicious. The tea salad is a must try. It is a totally unexpected taste but yet so delicious. The flavors of B Star food are different but definitelly worth a try even if you have to wait in line for it.
