If there were more stars we would give them. Dermot has been AMAZING to work with. He has help us with our new kitchen, or new bathroom and the area around our fireplace. With his years of experience he makes great suggestions of styles and models, and types of wood and colors. He made sure he took precise measurements, and walked us through where gaps would be and how to efficiently use our space. He wouldn't admit it but he is awesome with the software that he uses, providing us with detail layouts, 3D modeling and even colors to see what might work. When we were ready to place the order, he walked through everything again to make sure we understood everything, he couldn't have made the ordering process more fun and easy. THANKS!
I manage a guesthouse for seriously ill children in SF and chose Goodlife Kitchens for our kitchen remodel. We had 6 kitchens that needed new cabinets and counters. Dermot was very helpful picking out quality kitchen cabinets and coordinating the work, so that we only had to close one kitchen at a time. Goodlife is just awesome. Working with Dermot (the owner) is a dream -- he has excellent design sense, he is a pleasure to work with, he always comes through, he stays on time and on budget. He knows how to give valuable advice and also how to take himself out of the equation, in just the right ratio. We took our kitchen down to the studs; the project remarkably cheap for what we got. And fast -- about 6 weeks from demolition to being able to cook again. I just can't say enough good things about Dermot and Goodlife.
Dermot really knows quality kitchen remodels and is great in sharing his wealth of knowledge and working with you throughout the process. He does things the right way and only the right way, and will not cut corners or sacrifice quality. Having his store, Goodlife Kitchens, close by is a huge plus. When you go there, you have his full attention and truly get the best kitchen for you and your home. That said, you don't even have to go to the store, as Dermott is great about meeting at your home with all sorts of materials and samples. I love my Goodlife Kitchen and very much appreciate that Dermot will answer my questions and help in any way, well after the project is done.
