This is one of my favourite restaurants in San Francisco by far. Sustainable, Locally grown and Organic foods. Creative combinations filled with flavour. I’ve yet to see anywhere else with options like here. The location is close to the beach. The staff are highly knowledgeable. The ambience is great.

Hotel Cielo Rojo is a divine little boutique hotel in San Pancho (San Francisco) that is owned and curated by Gisele Marin. Gisele has an eye for design that shows throughout the entire space and including her organic bistro that serves eye popping farm to table dishes full of complex flavors that sate on all levels. Bring your appetite and stay the night. As the bistro opens fairly early bring ear plugs for sleeping in (the only reason for 4 stars).
Hotel Cielo Rojo is an excellent and well located boutique hotel with lovely art and architecture and a great healthy organic restaurant. I would have left five stars anyway, but I would leave 10 stars if I could because they bailed me out of a stupid mistake - I made the reservation for the wrong month, and in the middle of the night after they were already closed, the staff was able to make me a room - potentially saving me from a dangerous situation! Now I will never stay in another hotel when I am in the area.
This review is for the restaurant ... after a pretty bad dinner service I came back for brunch to give the restaurant another try. I ordered pancakes which the menu said came with butter and honey from a region in Mexico. My pancakes were made and sat at the counter while the kitchen staff chatted and one guy was making drinks. It sat for 10 minutes until I finally called someone over and brought their attention to the food that was waiting to be brought out. Instead of the organic honey they poured some Costco syrup from the bottle. There were only 3 tables at this time and the restaurant was not busy at all but my dirty plate sat in front of me until I asked for the check. Really confused because I heard this place is good for good quality, organic food ... not stuff from Costco.
Expensive, without electricity, dirty beds, cold water in the shower. "Manager" is never available and the person answering the phone mocks about any inquiries made.
Best fancy dinner and breakfast in San Pancho. Price worth it all the way. I have not stayed there yet but will do it! It is not a crowded place so you can enjoy privacy and the most tranquil vibe to read while eating if you will. Music is delicious too!
Great little hotel within walking distance of San Pancho beach. Friendly staff who will take care of any request. Rooms are great and very clean and inviting. Excellent decor. Restaurant has excellent food and service. Breakfast was wonderful and lots of healthy options for everyone. Will be staying here again soon.
Beautiful hotel. The organic restaurant offered a unique, healthy and delicious menu. Breakfast was included in our stay.
