The locals hangs out at Imperial Palace Restaurant for Dim Sum brunch, read newspapers and chat with old friends. If you have not tried these little Chinese tapa dishes. It will be a special treat. I go there regularly, so it's nothing exciting for me, unless they have a new item. The dim sum served during the weekday is a limited menu. Price per dish is not cheap. By the time you add up the dishes, charge for tea per person ends up close to what a regular lunch meal cost. Yes, you get more variety to choose from but its no longer cheap anymore. Thanks to the high cost of labor, rent, utilities, and food cost in the Bay Area.

Chinese Restaurant on Chinatown San Francisco. The portion is big so if you eat not so much you can share it. This restaurant is still keep the tradition Chinese rules, you can see a lots of Chinese American eating here. And when you come there on lunch time you have to make a long line and mostly the Chinese customer already know what to do, they don't make a line but find they own seat by giving the staff tips. The taste of the food is good that's why a lots of local coming here. Worth to try!
