Paraiso Escondido is the gem of San Pancho! Owners are wonderfully hospitable who have crafted this property with amazing decor and comfort. The beach is literally steps out the courtyard door and a 1 minute walk to town. Extremely clean, everything worked perfectly - hot water, wifi, and locking doors made for a very relaxing, tranquil vacation. The dipping pool was perfect to sit and enjoy coffee in the mornings...palm trees filled with talking birds. I’ve been here several times and will always come back. Yoga studio and outdoor pizza ovens as well !

My husband and I booked this almost a year ago for a week's stay. It looked charming on the website. The reality is that having an open air kitchen and living space has its drawbacks. The mosquitos were horrendous and the only escape was to retreat to the bedroom(what?) and close the door. In the morning there were rodent droppings and urine all over the counter tops and dishes (all in open shelving). Daily housekeeping was provided if you asked for it but who wants to wait for housekeeping for that first cup of coffee? And they wouldn't have pulled the cups or any of the other dishes or utensils out to disinfect them anyway. We are advid outdoor people but when you pay these prices you expect more than a campsite experience. We put up with it for 4 nights and then found other (better) accommodations in town. Parasol Escondido is the perfect hostel for those that are looking for a bed and nothing more. San Pancho has lots of lodging options. Choose wisely.
This place is amazing! Very close to San Pancho shops and restaurants. Very close to the beach. Yet private and secluded.
El lugar es muy lindo y el personal muy amable, sin embargo, hay muchas cosas que no funcionan adecuadamente como las puertas de las habitaciones, el internet y a veces falta un poco de atención a los inquilinos. Lo recomiendo para descansar y escuchar las olas del mar.
