Came past en route from Lucca to Siena on the Via Francigena. The apartments are cosy, positioned in a quiet pocket but smack bang in the middle of all the happenings in the most beautiful soulful old house. The breakfast buffet is highly recommended...big tables, great food selection. Every member of Marzia’s team was extremely helpful and it felt like they genuinely love and care for their guests. Felt so comfortable here. Very very impressed with this place.

My partner found this place and kept it a surprise from me and Uncle Max. Upon arrival, we were dropped just outside the wall of San Gimignano with our luggage and told to wait. Once the car was parked nearby, we walked a short 100m to the entrance and entered absolute heaven. Decorated with authentic antiques, this place oozes times gone by. In speaking so our host Pierre, the home has been in the family for several generations. There are many rooms and different configurations. Our first room had a full kitchen, small bathroom, loft queen size bed and a rollaway bed. We ended up also booking another room for Uncle Max as he rollaway wasn’t suitable for an 85yo man. There are a lot of stairs so although Uncle Max used a cane and was okay, air wouldn’t suit a wheelchair. Breakfast was in a stunning dining room off an equally stunning living room. If we’d had more time I would’ve loved to have just chilled here. Note that it’s well worth taking up the offer of breakfast of 7 euro as the food outside can be expensive. Save your dollars for dinner at one of the many restaurants. Located centrally to all of the town with only a short walk to the main square, the church, museum, towers and more, it’s perfect for everyone. You can book on a number of platforms so check each one out. Would highly recommend. Particularly as you are inside the walled village.

Fabulous, you are staying in an actual Palazzi! Room is super cute, small kitchenette, but bed in our room wasn't the best (not the most comfortable, and moves a bit), but not bad enough to drop a star. The host who looked after us (Marzia) was fantastic, giving us suggestion about town as well as some discounts at local restaurants and helped organise a wine tasting at a winery just out of town. There are a few steps (maybe 10-20), and no lift, so not suitable for disabled access.

We had a wonderful stay in this newly renovated historical palace. The owners are very kind and helped us plan a tour of the city. The only downside is the noise from the main street, right outside of the window. Overall, great experience in an authentic San Gimignano house!

Great place, close to the main square. Our host was very helpful, room was nice and quiet with large very comfortable bed. In my opinion one of the best place to stay in lovely old Italian town.
